The LCN features in London Tech Film
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, declares London Is Open to global technology. In anticipation of the London Tech festival a short 50 second film has been created, spreading the message that London is Open to technology talent, investment and innovation from...
Microwave Spectroscopy of a Carbon Nanotube Charge Qubit
The use of quantum dots to define charge and spin qubits is well established in the field of quantum information processing. Quantum dot charge qubits are attractive because of the possibility of fast qubit control but are sensitive to charge noise which can result in...
Encapsulation and Polymerisation of White Phosphorus Inside Single-wall Carbon Nanotubes
Single-walled carbon nanotubes have been used to encapsulate many types of materials since their discovery, but now other nanostructured phosphorus allotropes are attracting considerable attention as well. The white phosphorus allotrope, which consists of tetrahedral...
A superior Near-Infrared Organic Light Emitting Diode
A breakthrough has been achieved at the London Centre for Nanotechnology, where researchers from the Marie Curie initial training network (ITN) Organic Semiconductors for NIR Optoelectronics (OSNIRO), alongside collaborators from Advent Technologies in Greece and from...
