LCN Professor Bill Lee has been awarded the Wendell D. Weart Career Achievement Award by the WMS (Waste Management Symposia) selection committee. Professor Lee was nominated for the award based on his outstanding contributions to the discipline of nuclear waste management for the past 40 years and for his national and international recognition in the field. The award was formally presented to Professor Lee at the WMS Honors and Awards Luncheon on Tuesday 8 March.
