Julien Bergeron is a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. His group uses primarily cryo-electron microscopy, combined with other structural and biophysics approaches (modelling, X-ray crystallography, NMR, ITC, SEC-MALS etc..) to characterize the structure and mechanism of protein nano-machines. In particular, he is interested in understanding large macromolecular assemblies involved in bacterial cell division, motility, infection, and antibiotic resistance
