Dr. Deng has published 65 journal papers, 4 book chapters, and 35 conference papers. Her ability to lead original, fundamental, and independent research is evidenced by two Best Paper Awards in year 2016 and 2017 at IEEE flagship conferences, including Int. Communications Conf. (ICC) and Global Telecommunications Conf. (GLOBECOM) on molecular communication (MC) as the first author. Because of these, she has been appointed to be the Associate Editor of IEEE Communications Letters and IEEE Transactions on Communications to handle MC submissions, and she has also been invited to give a Tutorial in IEEE GLOBECOM 2018 on “Molecular Communication: Methods, Simulations, and Experiments”. Dr. Deng has made internationally pioneering contribution to the field of MC, and her most significant contributions to this field are mathematical modelling, simulation framework develop-ment, and bio-inspired microfluidic design for MC,
