Terry Tetley

Professor Tetley is nterested in how inhaled nanomaterials interact at the gas-blood interface of the lung, studying bioreactivity, uptake, translocation and fate. Interested in both drug delivery as well as toxicity. Targeting lung cancer, treating TB, antimicrobial defence, heart and cardiovascular disease/effects. Using unique in vitro models of the human lung, created from primary human lung cells. Collaborate with material scientists, clinicians, chemists, bioengineers etc.
