My research focusses on the processing-structure relationships of structural ceramics and composites, focussing on their degradation mechanisms in extreme environments and the development of processing routes to enhance performance. I work with industry in the nuclear energy and manufacturing sectors including Tokamak Energy, Plansee, SECO tools, Tosoh SMD and Hyperion M&T.
