I work on topics in quantum transport with a view to enabling quantum technologies. I am currently working on spin and topological shuttling for qubit connectivity. I have developed new techniques for single electron technologies for quantum sensing and metrology, information extraction from quantum dots, and have delivered new hot electron techniques (PRL, Nature Commun.) and designed the next generation of hot single-electron source (PRL, APL). I have experience of, and have published papers, in both experimental and theoretical quantum physics, and have experience of leadership, project management, and mentorship.
