Felix Donaldson

I’m utilising optically active spin defects for quantum sensing. My primary focus is the nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centre in diamond which, due to its coherent properties at room temperature and the range of sensing modalities available, makes an excellent nanoscale sensor for investigating biochemical systems. As part of the Q-BIOMED hub, I’m primarily working on quantum enabled in-vitro diagnostics. These efforts range from point-of-care device development to generating novel sensing schemes.
