Dr. Henderson is an EPSRC-funded Research Fellow at the London Centre for Nanotechnology, specialising in the fabrication of electronics in diamond using ultra-fast laser-processing. This process creates electrically active carbon domains within the bulk diamond, protected by the durable crystal substrate making them suitable for use in harsh environments. Dr. Henderson earned his MChemPhys from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 and his PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University College London in 2025. His academic background includes research into other carbon materials, having previously worked on graphene biosensors at NTT BRL in Japan.
