Anastasia Zaleska

Anastasia is a Research Associate within the Photonics & Nanotechnology group in the Department of Physics at King’s College London. Her research focuses on the fabrication and characterisation of plasmonic metamaterials and their application in sensing and photocatalysis, including the photo-electroreduction of carbon dioxide.

She obtained her BSc and MSc degrees in Physics from Odesa National Mechnikov University (Ukraine) where she investigated the optoelectronic properties of semiconductor nanomaterials.

She was awarded her PhD at King’s in 2021, her thesis was entitled ‘Gold and copper metamaterials for plasmonic photocatalysis and sensing’
